Based in Harrow on the West side of London, Busilis is a hub for creativity. Launched by Charlotte Vandersleyen in 2017, we pride ourselves on our outstanding customer service and our attention to detail. We’re dedicated to creating well considered homes that balance aesthetic and functionality, all this in our one stop Architecture and Interior design practice.

Charlotte is renowned for her meticulous attention to detail and her ability to seamlessly integrate architecture and interiors, resulting in spaces that unite beauty and functionality. She is particularly fond on lighting, recognising its transformative impact on the built environment. Charlotte’s vision is expressed through curated homes, where every element is carefully considered to achieve settings that are both refined and deeply personal.

As Founder and Director, Charlotte leads the studio’s creative direction and personally oversees every project. She collaborates closely with her team, ensuring precision and cohesion in every aspect of design, from the architectural framework to the smallest interior details. In addition, she manages the day-to-day operations and spearheads the ongoing growth and development of the business.

Outside of her professional life, Charlotte finds balance through the discipline of Japanese fencing and enjoys spending quality time with her family.
